Hiking since a boy, I began backpacking as soon as I could head out on my own. I have continued this tradition with a brief birth and raising break for my daughter, who now camps with me. The page, Backpacking Connecticut, is born from that hobby.

Hoping to be a service site where you can read about my trips around the state and gather maps and research to plan a great trip. Connecticut has some great trails and I want to walk them all, maybe you will get to read about it!
